Sunday, 19 October 2008 - Thomson Reuters will be performing the quarterly upgrade to ISI Web of Knowledge. The upgrade will start at 8:00 EDT ( 13:00 British Summer Time). There will be disruptions to ISI Web of Knowledge, Personalisation, and EndNote Web throughout the day, Researcher ID will also be updated at this time.
Analysis and information regarding the UK tourist market is given from a database produced by VisitBritain and Tourism Together. Included is a wealth of information, articles from the Insights archive 2000-2004, and a “Destination Manager’s Toolkit” (a regularly-updated guide to best practice in destination planning, development, monitoring and marketing). Tourism Insights is described as “essential reading for anyone serious about tourism”.

The database gives analysis, company reports, future policy predictions, court proceedings, legislation, policy briefing, method statements, etc. Access is via password information linked to the entry in the A-Z Databases page.
We have three new health-related databases from EBSCO. They are: Medline with full text, Amed, and the Pyschology and Behavioral Sciences collection.
