We have been notified by InformaWorld that there will be some essential network maintenance made on the InformaWorld website on Saturday 27th September. The publisher is expecting two short periods of downtime throughout the day which will last a maximum of thirty minutes.
Access to Wiley Interscience will be unavailable on Monday 22nd September from 9am for about an hour.
The Ebook Library is launching a new ebook reader next week, featuring faster loading images, new print tools and a better layout.
No special plug-ins are needed and it uses standard Adobe Reader software.
The former Athens help page has changed. The re-worded page is called Logging into electronic resources.
The new wording moves emphasis away from Athens to reflect the changes in authentication that are underway.
Mention of Athens will also be lessened on the Databases A-Z page. Where there are ambiguities about access to individual services we’ll add a note to explain what to do .
