Federated Search Systems

Following its long selection process, the federated search group made a recommendation, recently, to the Senior Management Team, that we buy the 360 Search system from Serials Solutions. This was accepted, conditional upon various questions being answered, and satisfactory solutions being found to certain matters raised. Serials Solutions currently provides our A-Z Electronic Journals system, and the url resolver Article Linker (which will both become part of the eventual federated search system).
